Maree Livermore,  founder and lead consultant.

With established credentials in the law, in research and as a communicator, Maree is a multi-talented professional with a career breadth embracing roles with Australian governments, not-for-profit organisations and professional services firms.

She has undertaken prominent consulting projects with several Australian Commonwealth Departments and State-level government clients. In the community sector, Maree has worked with many agencies including Relationships Australia, NSW and ACT Legal Aid, and the Women’s Resource Centre. In her legal career, she worked with national firm Blake Dawson Waldron and with NSW labour litigation firms.

She is the author of the plain-English text ‘The Family Law Handbook’ published by Thomson Reuters, now in its 4th edition.

Maree has been a nominee for the NSW Justice Medal for ‘outstanding individual achievement in improving access to justice especially for socially and economically disadvantaged people’.

Her special interest in regulatory governance and sector network analysis featured in her PhD study at the Australian National University: ‘The effect of risk-based mental health law on access to mental health services.’
